Bigarreau Burlat: Highly productive, extremely vigorous tree with vertical

branches. The earliest of all the varieties in this group. Requires a pollenizer.

Pollenizers: Marmotte, B.S.Hardy Giant, Van, Guigne Early Rivers, Durone della

Bigarreau-Moreau-

Bigarreau Moreau: Vigorous tree with semi-vertical branches. Low productivity

and early blooming period. Requires a pollenizer. Pollenizers: Early Rivers,

B.Marmotte and B.S.Hardy Giant. The fruit ripens May 10-20. Flat and reniform

with a mahogany-black hue. Medium to large-sized, weighing 8-10 grams. Crisp

and juicy flesh, slightly resistant to rain damage. Mildly sweet flanour. Mainly

consumed fresh, it has great commercial value. Very large-sized tree with

extremely dense crown. Starts to crop regularly in its 6th or 7th year. Grafted with

P.mahaleb it does not live long. Sensitive to frost and anthracnose, suffers in

compacted soil. In light soil it produces very large-sized fruit. Force is required to

seperate them from the tree.

Larian

Larian: Vigorous, productive tree with semi-vertical branches. Mid-season

blooming period. Requires a pollenizer. Pollenizers: B.Burlat, B.S.Hardy Giant,
